OUR SHORT HISTORY

Ubud Healing Center offers holistic complementary and alternative medicine services based on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), including acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping therapy, and Chinese herbal medicine. All treatments are provided by experienced and professionally trained TCM practitioners. Mr. Akuh Suryana, an acupuncturist and Chinese herbal medicine practitioner with more than 30 years of experience, founded Ubud Healing Center in 1994. Over the years, he has dedicated his professional life to helping patients through traditional Chinese medicine and has gained extensive experience in treating a wide range of health conditions. He is now assisted by his son,Erik Dwi Juniar, who is also a skilled and dedicated acupuncturist. Erik graduated from the Health Polytechnic (POLTEKKES) of the Ministry of Health in Surakarta (Solo), Central Java, in 2018 and has been practicing acupuncture at Ubud Healing Center ever since. He is available for consultations and treatments from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Due to his various professional activities in different regions, Mr. Akuh is not always at the clinic. However, he continues to make time to visit and provide treatment to patients whenever his schedule allows.
